Directions (rather than Google Maps)
· Take Highway 20 west towards Pecatonica.
· Turn RIGHT (north) at Pecatonica Rd./Main St. (at the intersection where the State Police Headquarters is on the left.)
· Proceed North on Main St. past the schools.
· For “Gate 1 (Main Gate), turn LEFT (west) on E. 7th St./Sumner Rd.
· Just past Grove Rd. (about ¼ mile), take a RIGHT (north) into the Parking Lot entrance of the Main Gate. Our tent and the Fair’s ticket booth entrance will be near the large tree there.
· For “Gate 2” (secondary, NE entrance), From Main St, continue North past 7th St. /Sumner St. and through Pecatonica’s
“downtown”— (don’t blink, or you’ll drive through it!) Go 6 blocks and take a LEFT (west) at 1st St. (before you go over the
river).
· You will be driving through their community sports & recreation park.
· As you are approaching the Fair Grounds Main GrandStand/Racetrack, take the LEFT FORK to stay on the Left (south) side the
racetrack. Gate 2 will be straight ahead.
· If you are driving between gates, there’s a short cut through a residential street, so you don’t need to go back to Main St.
Use John St. to travel the 6 blocks between 7th St./Sumner St. and 1st St.
