Who We Are
Thrift Store is open 6 days a week, 9am - 5pm.
It is an ultra-clean, friendly place to shop.
As a result of the nearly 20,000 cars that pass through our donation drive-thru annually,
we’re able to fully stock our store as well as send excess clothing to those in need around the world.
All of the revenue is directed into the general budget of Rockford Rescue Mission.
As of 2023, that total amount exceeds $1,000,000!
What We Do
Thrift Store provides a low-cost shopping option for the community,
and also helps meet the needs of our guests and residents at Rockford Rescue Mission.
We accept donations at the drive-through door in the back of our building,
9am - 4:30 pm on Tuesdays through Saturdays.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Everyone who comes to Rockford Rescue Mission, 715 W State St, receives everything at no charge. If we don't have what is needed at our main building, a request is sent to the Thrift Store. If it's found, it is sent to the main building to be given to the person in need - again, at no charge! We also give vouchers for those who have transportation and would like to shop for themselves.
